This workshop will take a look at the machines we use to help us measure and tell time. After a brief discussion of our ever-evolving relationship with time-telling devices, participants in this workshop will create their own simple sundials and nightdials.

Kim Wallace Instructor Bio:
Kim is a recent import to Victoria, BC, and is an avid user of clocks. A novice clockmaker, Kim is interested in the roots of time-telling, and hopes this workshop will help those also interested in time learn a little bit about how to tell time without a watch or cellphone. Kim holds an BAH and MA in English from Acadia University.
